Great Bank never had any problems.

I've been banking with HSBC for 15 years and in all that time I've never had a problem with them and any slight issues have always been resolved in a timely manner. Reviewed on: 27th January 2019

No problems but not the best rates!

I have banked with HSBC since a child. Never had any problem with them, always friendly in branch and once online banking is set up it's simple and easy to use from both phone and computer. I only haven't given it full marks as I don't think they offer as competitive rates of interest or rewards as some competitors. Reviewed on: 25th January 2019

No cash back on bills, etc

Student Account

I have had a wonderful experience with HSBC’s student account. The interest free overdraft of £1000 has allowed me to get on as a student with financial peace of mind. The student credit card is good too. Online banking is excellent, and the mobile app is fabulous. Reviewed on: 17th January 2019

Branch closures!

I have been with HSBC for twenty years and have always been very pleased with them, but unfortunately my local branch has now closed and so it is with regret that I am looking for a new bank. Reviewed on: 13th January 2019

Great bank account with excellent customer service

I've been with HSBC for over 20 years and I can not fault the service provided at all. My current bank account is easy to use and I am very happy, I've also had a loan and our mortgage is with them. When I was a victim of fraud a couple of years ago HSBC alerted me before I even knew about it (someone had cloned my card and was using it in America) HSBC carried out a full investigation quickly and refunded me the missing money straight away. Excellent account with great app

The HSBC online banking app is very easy to use and has great innovative functions like paying in a cheque by taking a photo of it with your phone or tablet. Reviewed on: 13th January 2019
