I've been banking with HSBC since I was 7 years old and they were called The Midland Bank; I opened a Griffin Savers account. I also have my ISA with them. Perhaps for me, it's more a case of sticking with what I know. Reviewed on: 31st December 2017

Have been with HSBC since 1980 and have always found them to be a reliable,trustworthy and honest bank.We bank online and this has proved to be a very efficient and time saving way to run our account.We recommended HSBC to our sons who both now have accounts. Reviewed on: 31st December 2017

I've always been with HSBC but mainly out of laziness to switch. I wasn't allowed a student account when I became a student even though my credit rating was good. Also have never been allowed an overdraft and was refused a credit card. Probably good in the long run but pretty inconvenient! Reviewed on: 20th December 2017

Great current account with easy online banking

Great current account with easy online banking, I use it every week to check my balance and send money etc. The website online is super easy to use compared to other banks. HSBC is the best bank ever and I have been with them for 17 years already! Reviewed on: 15th December 2017

Friendly and helpful staff

The staff at my local branch are friendly and helpful. When I asked about making a large payment to a garage for a car I was advised about the best way to do it and also suggested that until I was ready to pay I should move the money to a savings account as it would be safer and earning interest. never had problem, and they got my money back when I got scammed

I bought slimming ta lets by mistake, it was a scam and hsbc managed to give me mu money back in a coupl of hours and I have just never had a problem with them and they were very good about my mental health problems. I spolke to om someone who was specifically dealing with mental health and I was given her number to ring in the future Reviewed on: 6th December 2017
