By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

I have been with ByMiles for over a year now. I have since recommended three other people who have also joined. The visibility of your charges, the fact you can see your journeys on the app, run diagnostics, and have a daily price/miles cap for long journeys - all unparalleled in the insurance world. Anytime I have had to contact customer services, they have always been quick to respond and very helpful. Absolutely no downsides for me! Reviewed on: 4th August 2021

Most Innovative Car Insurance... By Miles!!

As someone who has been working from home for several years before the pandemic, my average annual mileage was already lower than most. Some insurance companies didn't even allow values as low. My friend recommended By Miles to me and jumped at the chance as soon as my renewal came up. My insurance was already fairly low but now I think I will save about £100 per year and I really feel like I'm getting what I pay for AND paying only for what I need. Couldn't Be Without By Miles

I have been with By Miles for 1 year and I have no intention on leave this Insurance company. I feel so much in control, as everything is just a click away. Customer service is always amazing and a lovely bunch to deal with. My precious sister who actually recommended By Miles so that I could go ahead with my new car purchase. To cut it short now: If it wasn't for this super duper car insurance company and quote, I wouldnt have my new car today. Thank you By Miles for existing in this day and age. I found the web site ease to use and the response to ay email most efficient, Cant believe I saved over £60 when I first took out insurance and my quote a change of vehicle saved me over £100, and there was no charge when making this change.
