By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Amazing insurance, keeping costs low

Ever since finding out about by miles. I've been able to keep my insurance costs low and only pay for when I'm actually driving my vehicle which is great. Also the app is very user friendly, super easy to use and keep track of all the journeys taken. Especially the finding your car feature, has saved me a couple times finding my car in huge car parks. A perfect choice for pensioners

As a pensioner with a very low annual mileage By Miles is the perfect choice. The annual fee is half what I paid with other insurers and I have not had to pay any other charges. Reviewed on: 4th August 2021

I have been with bymiles since the beginning, and won't change! As I dont drive that far, the fact you only pay for the miles you do is amazing, and has been so useful during lockdown where I drove even less!
