By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Overall my experience with By Miles has been amazing, especially with lockdown at the beginning of the year, my car insurance cost was literally nothing which helped me save money when I really needed it. OMG I wish I had found out this secret money saver sooner!

I have worked from home for several years and only really used my car for local trips and the weekly trip to family. I was paying about £70pm for insurance and since changing to ByMiles I have cut this by 60%. What a brilliant and fair concept, I have recommended it to many people now. Good luck guys! Super cheap if you don't do a lot of miles, but still pretty cheap when do you. As the company is pay by miles, I don't do a lot of miles anyway and i'm saving a ton of cash. The support are pretty fast at responding too and are very polite, friendly and helpful. Reviewed on: 9th September 2020
