Green loans

We had 2 green loans from CCU. They were easy to take out and offered great rates with no early repayment fees. They have now been repayed which was a faff to begin with but after contacting their customer services things were very straightforward. Reviewed on: 14th April 2025

Capital credit union - good people

I've saved and had a few different types of loans now and I like that you can call up and talk to a real person, you can manage things in the app and pay back early with no penalty. Now I have different saving accounts and being able to save directly from my salary has really helped me start to try and be a saver. Now I'm better able to manage money from loans to savings. Absolutely amazing company

I have been a member with capital credit union for around 10 years and was told about it by a colleague within the fire service, he told me it was a great place to put some money aside in so I signed up. Not long after that perhaps less than a year Scotland was hit by that extremely bad snow that pretty much caused havoc. Unfortunately my pipes froze and burst leaving my house with no heating or that, and the worst thing was my 6 or 7 month baby was there and I didn’t know what to do or how I was going to get money to get it repaired asap and I phoned Capital and explained my situation and they were absolutely amazing and gave me a loan basically there and then! It was an absolute blessing and I will never forget that, how understanding and helpful they were my wee families angels!.Best bunch of people and they absolutely deserve recognition for all the good they do!
