All members must save at least £15 per month alongside the loan to help build up a nest egg. Capital Credit Union loans come with free loan protection insurance and flexible repayments with terms of up to ten years.

Delays, Slow, Unresponsive

Originally applied back in September. Provided ID through e-mail and got ignored for several months. When I followed up, I was ignored again. Eventually, almost 5 months after I originally applied I got a link texted to me to download an ID app, even though I had already provided this. Once I had completed that step I asked for an update on my loan application and was told it was sitting in a queue to be assessed and it may take a while. Okay fair enough you'd think, however I've since read multiple reviews of people having their memberships and loans processed in less than 24/48 hours recently. I'm not sure why I've been treated this way but it's really disappointing. Credit Unions are supposed to be friendly, welcoming and provide good service. I've had nothing but hassle since my original application and I feel excluded, downbeat and disappointed that for no apparent reason I am being treated seperately to other customers. One of Your staff has very Rude behavior and bad attitude !!! Asking customers to repeat 1000s time same issue And still never sorted !!!! Agents offer no Empathy !!! Poorly trained and uninformed representatives very bad service !!!! I Wll never recommend to any one !!! You need to work on to teach your representatives !!! Reviewed on: 28th May 2023

Top Class Loan Service

A great experience from start to finish. Using the CCU app it was so easy to apply, read documents and accept them. I made my application in the morning and by the following afternoon the funds were in my account. Nicola who i dealt with was fantastic so a big thank you to her and the team.
