Have had ups and downs with this company.

There is been ups and downs with this company. For the most part it is a good credit card and the rates and fees are really quite comparable with other similar cards. I've had some trouble when dealing with customer service. One customer service agent in particular had a difficult time explaining why certain fees were assessed. He first told me one reason, then after a few questions, he said something completely different. When I tried to get him to clarify, I was hung up on. Other then the one bad experience, customer service has been easy to work with and knowledgeable. If you are looking for an easy to get, straightforward credit card, I would recommend Capital One to you. Reviewed on: 13th April 2015

Its a great credit card to have.

Capital One is my first credit card and from then till now - 20 years later I still keep it and will not exchange it any other card that I have now. It has a good customer support and accepted in almost all establishment. I can also use it in most countries I go. Reviewed on: 13th April 2015

Excellent card and customer service.

The Capital One Credit Card is a great addition to my wallet. The card is accepted everywhere I want spend money. The statements are always fair and accurate. The Capital One customer service is excellent. Reviewed on: 13th April 2015

Could use an improvement in customer service.

Customer service contact was lackluster for my personal experience. Did not seem to know what was going on and I had to explain the situation numerous times before someone finally understood. Once the problem was understood, the problem was handled in somewhat of a timely manner. Things should be made easier for the customer and it was very frustrating having to keep repeating myself. The product is a good product and I continue to use the card but certainly an overhaul in the customer service department is warranted. Good interest rate and good amount of credit. Other than the aforementioned issue with customer service, no other problems have been experienced. Overall I think this card is a good fit with minimal fees associated with it. Loyal company to loyal customers

I would recommend any Capital One card to my friends or family. In my experience, they are as loyal to you as you are to them. They offer a credit product and they display outstanding customer service. More companies would love to offer both. Reviewed on: 13th April 2015

never had an issue

I've been with Capital One for quite a while now, they aren't very easy to work with when it comes to getting information about specials and promotions - I'm always clicking around the website to find things. But I have never had any issues with them at all. They've got a typical 1% reward program. Reviewed on: 13th April 2015

Straightforward, basic credit card

Although I've had a few negative experiences dealing with the customer service for Capital One, I have had the account for around 5 years. By and large the services provided are straightforward and not confusing. I would recommend them to others. Reviewed on: 13th April 2015

Good basic card

The credit card is a good basic credit with an adequate grace period and good APR terms. This is not a great card if you're looking for one with rewards but CapitalOne's customer service is top-notch. Reviewed on: 13th April 2015

10 years of awesome

I have been a capital one member for 10 years, and actually now have three of their products. In this entire time frame I have never experienced an issue in any way. Their fees and interest rates are fair as well as the fact that they discuss with you raising your credit limits instead of just doing it automatically. To me, at least, this helps you manage how much debt you could rack up. Additionally, 3 years ago someone pulled the old playdough under the counter trick at a restaurant in Myrtle Beach and used my card to spend about $2000 on Amazon. (keep in mind this person was a moron) Capital One took the lead with the local police, making sure the charges were fixed and they were caught considering I live 250 miles away. Overall, a 10, a complete 10 as a creditor and a company. Reviewed on: 13th April 2015

My experience has been amazing overall.

I have been with this company for over 6 months now and I love them. I have had very few issues with the company. I love that I can keep track of my credit scores with out dinging my score for checking it. Reviewed on: 13th April 2015
