Started saving with the credit union when I was a working single- parent and was able to take my daughter on our first holiday abroad. I started with the credit union by getting a much needed loan. When that was paid off, I continued to save the amount I had been using to pay off the loan with. I had never saved money before and it came in very handy for bills, birthdays etc I had to reduce the amount I was saving due to the cost of living but I still save a bit and just forget about it until I need it. The Central Credit Union is brilliant, it helps people like myself a carer, who are forced to live on a small amount of money. Reviewed on: 18th June 2024
