Been a Custer for about 25 years. Looking to change

Been a Custer for about 25 years. Had an overdraft for most of the time. Suddenly they pulled it. Said that I was using it and needed to reduce it Find at first then when when I did need help for a couple of months they were most unhelpful. So if you read if you need help we can help you don’t bother calling as thy will not assist they will try and refer you to Citizens Advice. No loyalty whatsoever Reviewed on: 24th March 2026

Had a problem with using my App so I called into a local branch at Lewisham. A very helpful teller worked through setting up a standing order with me. She worked through the exact procedure and explained why this couldn’t be done on the banking app. Reviewed on: 24th March 2026

Great interest on the regular saver account.

No interest on current account, but good interest on their regular saver. Plus they still have quite a few open branches which is near miraculous these days. Reviewed on: 24th March 2026

Best sustainable and ethical high street bank

If you are looking for a sustainable and ethical choice, this is easily the best option among the high street banks for a standard current account (for online, check out Triodos as well). Unlike most mainstream banks, the Co-op does not offer services or finance to the fossil fuel industry nor other unethical industries. I feel content that my money is not being invested in activities that undermine our common future. Reviewed on: 20th March 2026

This bank is amazing!

This bank is amazing! They are so secure, they will not let you into your app if it is not secure. The people in the actual bank are lovely friendly and kind. I don’t know what other bank I would want to be with! Reviewed on: 7th March 2026

Great ethical bank.
