About this product

The Co-operative (Co-op) current account is a basic account for everyday banking.

You can apply for an overdraft as part of your Co-operative current account application, or once your account is opened. With this account, manage your money online and on mobile and use Apple Pay, Google Pay or Samsung Wallet.

good customer service, monthly fee rather high

on-line banking is good and I have always found customer service personnel to be very helpful. However, the montlhy fee of £11 is quite high for a basic current account. Reviewed on: 13th January 2019

Always so helpful

Whenever I go into my local branch, the staff are always so friendly and nothing is ever too much trouble, they will always come up to you while your'e waiting in the queue, to let you know that you will be served shortly. If you need more help, they are always careful to explain things in plain English, and the best thing, they always remember who their customers are, you aren't just an account number to them.
