Everyday Extra good account

a good account, even though you pay monthly, I have a cashback on my other current account which goes to pay towards some of the monthly charge, plus you get free travel phone insurance and car recovery Reviewed on: 8th November 2018

didnt disclose would not let me transfer overdraft limit

always helpful, and ethical

the co op is the only ethical bank not investing in anything that harms the enviroment , animals or people... they have ALWAYS helped me when i have done online baking and been most helpful///they were the first bank to introduce online banking.. they are also lovely when i go into a high street bank, as they always call me by my name.. Everyday Rewards

Whilst other banks have financial incentives to switch, the Coop Bank rewards loyalty. I earn between £4.50 and £5.50 every month just by staying with them and receiving 5p each time I use my contactless debit card. The call centre is efficient and banking app on my mobile phone is very good. Very few branches now exist, but paying in cheques at any Post Office is easy. Reviewed on: 7th November 2018

Ethical and excellent

Highly underrated bank

I have been banking with Co-op for over seven years and have never had such good customer service from any company (a rare commodity in recent years!). Their telephone reps are always amazingly helpful and polite and the online banking service is very easy to use. When my bank card was fraudulently used some time ago, they were extremely quick, helpful and efficient in resolving the issue. Also, they were one of the first UK companies to have an ethical stance in their business dealings. This bank deserves much more praise and customers. Reviewed on: 6th November 2018
