I'm autistic and dyslexic

I'm autistic and dyslexic and still… I'm autistic and dyslexic and still work full-time and been with coop many years. My tenancy was up 2 weeks ago and the council found me a flat to move into so I spent all my money moving and that includes all my overdraft so I have no money until I'm paid in a week .I called the coop bank to tell them I've 1 pound in electric left and no food in until I'm paid Friday can I have 50 pounds to get electric and abit of food until Friday! They said no and said that I should go to a food bank and they may get me some electric somehow but they weren't sure.i put the phone down ! I'm sitting here hungry and 1.25 left In my emergency electric .coop bank I hate you and how you treat disabled people in a time of need .50 pounds for electric and food until I'm paid but you prefer me to die Reviewed on: 27th August 2024

Always Worried

I have never really had a bad experience with the coop but I have always been worried that they would not stay open in the market. Currently looking to change banks to ease my fears Reviewed on: 3rd January 2018

Overall good but internet banking just ok

Fantastic customer service

Co-ops customer service is second to none, they're faultless in my opinion. They did however refuse me a student bank account although I banked with them for four years, and did not disclose why. Whether that is a fault of the bank or an industry standard I am not sure. Reviewed on: 25th November 2017

Just OK

- Very expensive monthly charges - They no longer provide 24/7 customer service - They don't provide an 0800 to contact them - Their website often seems to be unavailable/undergoing maintenance or experiencing some kind of problem Reviewed on: 20th November 2017
