I'm autistic and dyslexic

I'm autistic and dyslexic and still… I'm autistic and dyslexic and still work full-time and been with coop many years. My tenancy was up 2 weeks ago and the council found me a flat to move into so I spent all my money moving and that includes all my overdraft so I have no money until I'm paid in a week .I called the coop bank to tell them I've 1 pound in electric left and no food in until I'm paid Friday can I have 50 pounds to get electric and abit of food until Friday! out-dated and slow

I've been with the co-operative for years but they honestly make life harder. They're online banking is slow, they don't update my spending fast enough, transferring money isn't nearly as easy as other banks. When I received a tax rebate cheque I couldn't for the life of me work out how I was meant to deposit the money. other banks you can scan the cheque in but I needed to order a special book from them and go to the post office. Completely gone to pieces

I have banked with the Co-op for 21 years. They used to be great with a 24/7 call centre, quick response times, very helpful and good service. Over the years it's just got worse and worse. They keep shortening the hours for the call centre. Pretty soon it'll be open for 5 minutes every second Tuesday. You are lucky if you get through in an hour and a half and while some of the staff are still pleasant and helpful, it isn't all of them. They are only interested in feedback for t... All I want to do is order a cheque book

All I want to do is order a cheque book, more than 1 hour on hold then cut off. Plus they charge for the phone call. Still need a cheque book. Reviewed on: 4th April 2022

Dreadful telephone banking

I do most of my banking online or via the app, but when something goes wrong (in this case the Coop losing my ID documents and sending a bank card and PIN to someone else's address!) and your nearest branch is 50 miles away, telephone banking felt like the only option. Was on hold for minimum 25 minutes each time only to get passed around and sometimes cut off. I was promised return phone call that never came. 20 years ago the Coop were brilliant.
