Interest Rate Loss

I went 'online' to renew our maturing Fixed Rate Saver. After completing most of the application form, I found that it did not allow me to open as a joint account, as my maturing account. I rang them and they said I would have to go into a branch to sort. In doing this, and the few days it took, I lost. 0.25% on the interest rate on a 2 year term. Reviewed on: 27th March 2025

Excellent customer service. Forms need to be updated to the latest ISA information regarding multiple ISAs and be clearer, I was uncomfortable signing something that wasn't strictly true. Reviewed on: 26th March 2025
