Don't consider esure car insurance

Never go with esure, especially if you live in the North East of England. If you have an accident and your car needs repairing it'll take months as they only have one garage that works with them. Regardless of the size of your vehicle you will only get a tiny 3 door hatch back courtesy car after months of waiting for repair date. I have a child car seat that has tethers and can't fit in a 3 door so paid enterprise extra to get a 5 door corsa but the child seat didn't fit in that either so I'm unable to take my child to or from nursery for however many weeks it takes to repair. Esure were aware of all of this and really don't care. In summary, don't go near this company Reviewed on: 9th October 2022

Total incompetence

Involved in a accident July 29 2022, and to date (October 9), despite phone calls (that takes at least an hour to get through) and emails, esure still haven't settled my claim, it's for a little under,£4000, despite me making an official complaint, and someone claiming to be dealing with it, offering me £150 compensation, and saying that my claim would be settled within 2 days, still nothing has arrived in my bank account .. I really don't know what else I can do to make esure, deal with the settlement.. I have never, encountered such total incompetence!! Reviewed on: 9th October 2022

Don't use them!

They pass you on to deal with another company who are a joke. Esure did nothing to help and I was left without a car despite paying for business use and the accident caused by the other driver who admitted liability. Reviewed on: 26th September 2022

Very good but lots of costs

I really like esure insurance for being upfront...but I have had to pay £50 in administration fees for buying a new car and for moving house. Both were updated in a five minute phone call, so it does seem alot. Reviewed on: 18th September 2022

No fault accident

After a minor bump when someone reversed out of a parking space into my car I was initially told they couldn’t start a claim without the third party’s address despite having their name, phone number and registration. On the second attempt after 40 minutes the call handler wasn’t able to provide any information on how a choice of hire car they gave me would impact my claim or future insurance costs, stating he would need to put me through to customer services and the claim would be put on hold until they were next available (4days). I was not given any options about taking legal action. Extremely frustrating process and very unhelpful even to make a no-fault claim. Inadequate information to make informed choices. Don't get it

My insurance renewal has gone up by £120 over the year, I don't understand why because no claim has been made. Anyway, good luck trying to cancel the policy, you have to ring them, obviously trying to put people off cancelling. Took ages to get through, then the person on the other end claimed he couldn't hear anything I was saying and made me say everything twice. But then mysteriously could hear me at the end of the phone call when he asked was there anything else I needed and I said no? Very bizarre glad I have renewed with someone else much cheaper. Email spamming

I am leaving Ensure because of a price hike & i have informed them to not auto renew as i got a price 20% cheaper with more cover. Now i am getting pestered with emails with the impression they will auto renew. Reviewed on: 25th August 2022
