1st Account

I've had my 1st Account for about 6 years, and I've always been happy with the service from First Direct. I'm able to call 24/7 for any queries I have, and staff have always been very professional and friendly. Unless you prefer a physical branch, I would recommend First Direct to anyone. Their app is easy to use, and like that I can search for specific payments to keep on track with my budgeting, and download previous statement to compare. Reviewed on: 12th January 2022

Excellent Customer Service

I changed to First Direct as I had heard good things about their customer service. I agree, they are great! It's all online and if you do need to use their telephone banking, it's efficient and quick. While I can't knock the app for logging in to banking, it's a bit of a pfaff on if you need to access transactions older than a month as you need to log on via the laptop and the security is seems much more complex (only because it's all linked biometrically on my phone, making it quick & easy) for that reason, I haven't given it full stars on recommending to friends and family. Always amazing

Friendly Bunch

I have been a First Direct customer for only a few short years but they will have me for a few years to come. The app really does all my day to day banking for me and I can see what is happening with my money at my fingertips. However when I have had a problem the down to earth UK based team at FD have always been a dream to talk to, no problem too big or small... Reviewed on: 5th January 2022

They do what they do extremely well

First Direct is a superb online bank. The web site never falls over; it is easy to navigate, and one has total control of one's accounts. For the odd occasion when one needs to phone up instead, the call is always always answered within two rings; having banked with First Direct since 2017 I have only ever once had to wait on hold for somebody to be free to answer. There are switching bonuses all over the place now, but I would never switch from First Direct. Reviewed on: 5th January 2022
