If you’re eligible, you can get an interest free overdraft of £250. You won’t be charged debit card fees when spending abroad. If approved for an account, you’ll get a virtual card you can use straight away.

Whoever i speak to doesn't seem to have a clue. A simple query about deactivating the app so I can set it up on a new device took 11 minutes. Easy to use bank account

I've had a First Direct bank account for more than 20 years. They're a fantastic bank, their customer service is second to none, and we also have our mortgage with them. The app is so simple to use, and if you need to speak to them, that's possible too. Reviewed on: 20th February 2023
