First Direct Secure Key Not Customer Freindly

First direct has implemented their latest level of security, it is non customer friendly difficult to navigate, too many items to enter and having to carry the secure key device everywhere is inconvenient to say the least, they suggest using smart phone app, not everyone has a smart phone and easy to make mistakes, Real Shame brilliant Bank ruined in a single move Reviewed on: 22nd February 2020

Great service and interest free overdraft

Best Bank I've ever been with

I switched to First Direct over 20 years ago, and never regretted it once. Fantastic customer service. Great online pages. Super banking app. Ok interest rates could be better, but that's true for all banks. Regular saver is a good deal. Reviewed on: 9th February 2020

Great products & incredible service

Whilst first direct offer competitive products that either match or beat most other banks it is their customer service that sets them apart. I’ve had cause to call them a few times regarding certain things and once had an apology off the customer service assistant as it took around 2 seconds for them to answer. All other occasions it has been answered immediately. No queue, no “press 1 for this and 2 for that”. Answered straight away by a real person who sorts your issue not passes you on. Security Code Generator

Because I have only used the security code generator infrequently I have to read the instructions every time, it is fiddly and time consuming. With the introduction of increased security I will either get used to it or give up on it! Reviewed on: 8th February 2020
