First direct keep me informed without bombarding me relentlessly with emails and texts. They inform of product offerings, statements and interest rate changes in periodic and timely fashion. On the few occasions I need to call them on the phone their staff truly demonstrate why they have won so many customer service awards since 1989 Reviewed on: 26th February 2025

Good Service and Straightforward Account

First Direct actually do always answer the phone with a person when you ring. No endless 'press 1 for x, press 2 for y...' automated nonsense. This does make a massive difference. Reviewed on: 12th January 2019
