Brilliant bank

Great product backed up by slick app

The regular saver rate is unbeatable currently, and the application process was straight forward. The mobile app is nice and easy to use, so with regular amounts going in, it should be quite the profitable little account! Reviewed on: 28th February 2023

When ever you need help or have an issue First Direct customer support is excellent and always there to help. Other Banks need to use their services to learn how to treat customers. Reviewed on: 16th February 2023

Interest rates are great, but the app is lacking functionality

Having the highest regular savings interest rate (as far as I am aware), is always going to get my interest. But the app is basic at best. It misses out on functionality that so many other banking apps offer, and doesnt come close to the functionality of modern banking apps, such as Monzo Reviewed on: 8th February 2023

Regular savings account

High interest!

Very easy to set up, linked to 1st account so money just comes straight out of there. 7% interest is fab as maximum monthly amount is high compared to other similar products. Reviewed on: 11th January 2023

Savings interest increased mid-term

Normally, with a Regular Saver account, the rate at the start is the rate that you get all the way through. But as interest rates generally started to climb, First Direct suddenly doubled the interest rate from 3.5% to a generous 7%, even though I was just over half-way through the term. I've never known a bank do that before! Reviewed on: 10th January 2023

Regular Saver - Exactly Right for Me

I've used the First Direct regular saver for a few years now, and it's perfect for me. I love the ease of it, and the rates have been good. The customer service is amazing, so I know if I need to ask any questions about it I can ring up and get them answered quickly. I've saved a lot over the past few years through the Regular Saver!
