GREAT BANK

The thing I love about banking with First Direct, everything can be done online or over the phone, with more and more banks closing their branches, accessibility is key for me. First direct have no nonsense phone lines and no robots, they have UK based call centres and are overall very helpful. Reviewed on: 13th February 2016

simple friendly good banking

First Direct take pride in who they are and that is passed on to their customers. Nothing is too much trouble and its very easy to do your day to day banking with them. cant be beaten on the rate

Excellent product with excellent customer service.

I really rate First Direct highly. Their customer service is absolutely first rate. They answer the phone within 2 or 3 rings and the first person you speak to can deal with almost any issue. Their savings account has a very good savings rate currently 6%. Reviewed on: 24th December 2015

Great savings account - the best interest rate I could find

Great interest rates - excellent customer service

Limited website for an online bank

Limited website for an 'online' bank. People are lovely and efficient but would prefer to be able to change standing order to regular saver without having having to phone up and speak to them every time! Reviewed on: 7th November 2015

Absolute perfection in every way.

The perfect bank to open an account with. Friendly and helpful with them offering helpful advice that is meaningful rather than pointless details being given that are not relevant. They are quick to offer assistance if it is needed and are definitely on your side. I fully recommend opening an account with them as you will not be disappointed. Reviewed on: 26th August 2015

Useful product and great interest rate

I've managed to save the maximum £300/month using this product throughout the year. This has meant that I now have enough money to make a meaningful top-up to my ISA. It pays 6% interest rate, which is as good as it gets right now! Reviewed on: 31st March 2015
