CANCELLED MY POLICY WITHOUT wARNING

I had a policy with go girl and my sister got one too for my car so she could learn to drive, we hadn’t realised you can’t have two policies but now we do. They EMAILED us to tell us my sister needs to cancel hers in seven days or I’ll lose mine. So my sister rang up to cancel her side as we know know two policies is not aloud. Not only did I get a £45 card charge, but my insurance got cancelled because I MYSELF didn’t ring up! We were only told my sister should call so that’s what we did, having good faith that my policy would continue. They cancelled my policy without telling me so I had not been aware I was not insured! I am absolutely devastated and broken by this, I had paid my insurance annually and my 3 years no claims was about to come through on the 1st of April! I’ve now lost a year of no claims, got no insurance on my car because they cancelled it and I have no money back. As a student nurse money is tight and I now have to ask family members for help. How is email official communication?????? You wouldn’t email a company to cancel insurance? In fact I wasn’t even told it would be cancelled. They should have called me! I’m now stuck in their vicious loop. The manager was un helpful and didn’t want to know so I will try and call tomorrow and reason with them for at least some sort of partial refund and cover letter. Only checked the policy because of the £45 card charge... this company is vile. Reviewed on: 10th March 2018

This company is an absolute JOKE. Been with them for almost two years. They have no consideration for their clients. Have left me stranded for over a month, to finally have my car towed to the proper garage, yet they lost my vehicle during transfer. Nobody knew where my car was. Told by insurance company that it was not delivered due to the garage being closed, which was false, as my vehicle was delivered, yet nobody knew where it was. Due to their incompetence, I have been without a car for over a month, and missed our garage apt, so now we have to wait another three weeks for an open apt. Meanwhile, my spouse, who has Pancreatic Cancer has now missed oncology apts which are two hours away and the insurance just says they'll document it in my complaint. DO NOT PURCHASE YOUR INSURANCE THROUGH GO-GIRL. YOU WILL REGRET IT IN THE EVENT YOU NEED TO MAKE A CLAIM. SKY NEWS and the IMPARTIAL has been contacted and we will be bringing this to the media. Nobody deserves to be treated this way, especially a paying client. We purchase Insurance as a piece of mind, yet GO GIRL has seriously impacted our Mental Health, which is more exasperated due my spouses Cancer Condition. Avoid at all costs

Reading the other reviews here resonates with my case and I wish I had read the, before I took out my insurance. My son was insured as a provisional driver, when he passed his test I asked for a quote which they said was valid for 7 days. (Extortionate amount). During this time my son never drove the car as we were searching for a cheaper policy elsewhere. On day 8 I got a text to say my insurance had been cancelled which is a lifelong sentence and does increase premiums. I tried to speak with someone and did some web chat and they just stated it’s policy I should have read the small print and my documents carefully. I’ve raised it with the Financial Ombudsman, and if Gogirl manage to resolve my issue then I’m happy to retract my statement. Watch this space! Reviewed on: 25th June 2025

Scammers fraud Go Girl insurance plz never buy from him my personal experience I driving nearly decade with no claim bonus no Conviction nothing I trap bought online cheaper Asked me plz provide my dvla check code my driving licence the my v5 I provided all Then they think make swallow my money or ask more demand which I pay for fraudulent Ask me my employment contract Even provided my pay slip which explain my job title still no happy and no accepted Then I send my employment contract to many time what they ask for At the end even email my issue to Feedback on sabre with my employment contract for resolving my issue No heard In decades no body ask my employment contract But I still provided They think I can’t produce that documents which they swallow my money cancel my insurance or increase my premiums Really fraud people using tactics fool people never go to them Reviewed on: 2nd December 2024
