"Help in a dilemma"!

After years of caring & putting others first I never really paid much attention to my own finances & eventually got into a bit of a pickle with no bank account etc. Last year, when my pension became available I didn't know where to turn to get it paid in! After spending very many years "in the wilderness" I hit upon what was then "Bristol Credit Union" which welcomed me in for the princely sum of £1. Working alongside the Engage DEBIT card has been an absolute life saver as due to receiving instant emails of every purchase & top-up on my account I can keep abreast of my spending etc. A leopard, they say; "never changes it's spots" so with an eager eye on my in-comings & outgoings I still find time to help others and sometimes with a small paid reward for little garden jobs etc., which tops up my rather small pension! So....a very BIG thank you to what is now "Great Western Credit Union"! (Great in every sense of the word!) Good luck in the awards! Reviewed on: 22nd June 2021

Efficient and evolving service

I have been a member for over 25 years and have experienced the growth from a small new neighbourhood credit union that I supported in the early days, to the regional one we have now. Over the years, I have taken out loans and have saved too. My experience of this credit union is one of efficiency, forward thinking with friendly support. Clear Communicators and Accessible Site

I've had absolutely no problems. Accessing my savings and setting up direct debits etc. is super easy and the company is very clear in its email communication about what's happening.
