GREAT BANK

I HAVE BANKED WITH THE HALIFAX FOR OVER 30 YEARS WITH NO PROBLEMS. THE STAFF AT THE BRANCH I GO TO ARE SO PATIENT, FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. THE HALIFAX APP ON MY APPLE TABLET IS REALLY GOOD AND I CAN PAY IN CHEQUES USING THE APP WHICH SAVES ME THE BOTHER OF GOING TO A BRANCH. THE WEBSITE IS EASY TO LOG ON AND NAVIGATE. Closure of my Accounts

I lost an account that have opened for almost a decade because of a review they refused to share with me till date. I tried to get help from different organisations like financial ombudsman and no reasonable response. Reviewed on: 14th June 2025

Appalling - vote with your money and leave

With Halifax over 30 years. First 20 were were very good - mortgage, current account, credit cards, etc. Last 10 years appalling customer service. They have down spec'd the customer service.. they stop every 2 out of 5 payments so you have to spend 20 minutes every 2 weekson phone to them proving who you are to access your own money; then they do it again! and again! Avoid like the plague as the customer comes last with Halifax. Reviewed on: 24th May 2025
