Helpful and friendly staff

I've always received excellent customer service from the staff at my local Halifax branches in Chester, whenever I've had a query they are always happy to help and are very patient. I had trouble accessing my online banking service a while ago and they fixed the problem quickly and promptly, apologising for the inconvenience caused. Breath of fresh air

Last year I opened a 2 year fixed isa saver with Halifax and transferred in existing products from another provider. I began the process online (as an existing customer with a current account) however came up against a query quite quickly with the transfer details required therefore called up. I was quickly put through to the relevant department who took resolved my query which meant I could have continued online however as they were so quick I chose to work through the process ... Easy to save with

ISA savers with Halifax are manageable with online access, and my variable account can be amended with a simple click of the button. All interest is tax-free and comes in annually the day you opened the account. Simple to use, and have never had any issues. Reviewed on: 10th August 2015
