Solid banking no frills just easy

I switched to Halifax, mainly for the switching bonus but also because RBS were terrible. £5 paid in every month is a nice little bonus, their online banking is the same as LLoyds and very easy to use. Very easy to control

I have had an account with Halifax since I was around 15 & the Reward Current Account is a fantastic product. I find it very easy to manage my overdraft settings, freeze/unfreeze transactions or monitor my direct debits. I receive text messages to confirm if certain activities on my card were done by me, I have never had any security issues & I trust my money to be 100% safe in this account. go extra mile

Good reliable bank account

Decent bank account however, the reward has dropped from £5 to £2 Reviewed on: 12th January 2019

Brilliant account, worth the fee alone for the mobile phone cover, not to mention breakdown cover and travel insurance. Great app too!

Easy to use, great text reminders when you potentially go over drawn allowing you time to transfer money and avoid bouncing payments and thus avoiding fees.. Reviewed on: 10th January 2019
