They deliver on their insurance.

I have had to use the insurance for my daughters phone twice in the space of two years, they have been excellent on both occasions and very efficient. Phone delivered to her door within a couple fo weeks of claiming. Reviewed on: 12th November 2015

it is simply rubbish

they have closed my account without any proper explanation nor have they given me time to sort out an account somewhere else.they have also done this to few others, i have come across,which is very unfair. Reviewed on: 10th November 2015

Helpful at a small cost

I've been with Halifax for 11years so they must be doing something right. I upgraded to ultimate reward current account 4 years ago. It is very handy when you are wanting to borrow a few quid in an overdraft before your next payday. Reviewed on: 5th November 2015

Efficient and helpful

I've banked with Halifax for over 15 years and held the Ultimate Reward account for 9 years. The benefits associated with the account are genuinely useful and really easy to access, particularly the Breakdown cover you get as standard. Really good value for money and any queries are dealt with quickly and helpfully. Reviewed on: 19th October 2015

Rewarding experience

Good service and product features

Have had the ultimate reward account for a number of years now but have recently used a number of its features. Had a window broken in our house and the home emergency cover that comes with the account came in useful. The operator was very helpful and within a number of hours the workmen had arrived at our house to board up the window. Travel insurance that comes with the account is also very good. Fantastic Service

Went into my local branch because I needed to change my address, I expected this to be a long drawn out process where I had to fill out a huge change of address form and provide numerous forms of proof of address as I have experienced in the past. But they simply took a look at my card and my ID and changed it for me right there and then on the spot! Reviewed on: 26th August 2015

Hassle-free and useful perks

I've been with Halifax a number of years now - essentially they were offering £100 free to anyone who set up a new current account so I decided to change. The perks with this account make it extremely worthwhile: travel insurance, emergency home repair cover, mobile phone insurance (even on iPhones) and breakdown cover for £15pm is fantastic. It drops to £10pm if you deposit a certain amount and have two direct debits too. The perks cover several people so my wife and I have this as a joint account - don't make the mistake of keeping them separate if you have a partner. The app is really easy to use too. My only criticism would be that they still communicate important information by post - I'd be happy to receive this by email. A minor complaint though. Reviewed on: 12th August 2015

Excellent but without the charge

The ultimate reward account is so good but, on the downside your paying £10 a month not for that much if you dont remember about the perks. The bank itself I love as I've always bank with them. Maybe do the perks for free and not charge. Reviewed on: 10th August 2015
