The price drop from my last insurer was very impressive, for a lot of the same coverage. I haven't as of yet had to report... They are deceiving people!!!

Don't buy this insurance! They're ripping people off! We decided to cancel our policy just three days after signing up, and they charged us £40,... Don't buy this insurance! They're ripping people off! We decided to cancel our policy just three days after signing up, and they charged us £40, even though the policy costs £83 per month. When we tried to cancel, it clearly stated that we could cancel within two weeks. This is usually free with other companies, but here they charged us £40 for nothing! This is what they wrote to us: > "We charge £40 for a non-refundable setup fee for setting up your policy and a telematics service fee. The remaining amount (£5.76) is for the entire term of your policy." Don't bother with this company—they make money by charging people to cancel their policy within few days! Can you imagine, £5.76 for three days of insurance, and the rest is a non-refundable registration fee for your policy and a telematics service fee? We haven't even received any Telematic* Grey box) yet, and they're already charging a fee. It's like being addicted and not knowing how to get out without financial loss. Also, if you forget your phone at home, you'll be fined for driving without it, as the telematics panel in your car will alert you. Check out YouTube—there are plenty of videos from angry customers sharing their negative experiences. This is the worst car insurance company in the UK! Read more Read less

    Even searching for better quotes online I haven’t found better prices than Hastings for 2 years. 1 accident and it was sorted without much issues... I got an email saying my price has been reduced for an issue in the pricing initially which is good considering they could have not done anything and kept the money. Read more Read less
