Smashed car window

Rip off company

Never ever use this company. Rip off merchants. My car has been scrapped but instead of a piddly £20 ish refund no....they charge me a £45 cancellation fee and I owe them to cancel! Team leader was a waste of space. Would have got more help from tal...

Never ever use this company. Rip off merchants. My car has been scrapped but instead of a piddly £20 ish refund no....they charge me a £45 cancellation fee and I owe them to cancel! Team leader was a waste of space. Would have got more help from talking to my dog that him!! Registered a complaint but looking at these reviews don't expect much! Car drivers don't use the company. Then they may have to become more customer centric!

Very poor, in fact "unresponsive", communication

Communication and time taken to resolve claims is very VERY poor.
It has been left to me all the way through my claim to chase Hastings for response. Continually promised a call back by relevant departments - but nothing! Totally unresponsive. Its now 5 weeks since my claim and still not resolved!

Nightmare when it comes to making a claim

I've never known such a prolonged claim experience. We kept getting passed through to different claims handlers who kept asking us exactly the same questions! Do they not all have access to the same systems? They then pass your claim on to yet another...

I've never known such a prolonged claim experience. We kept getting passed through to different claims handlers who kept asking us exactly the same questions! Do they not all have access to the same systems? They then pass your claim on to yet another company who deals with getting the car assessed etc, which meant more asking the same questions. I know their prices are good however you pay for what you get and the experience with this company is dire.
