Simple, well priced and just what I needed!

Good price - easy purchase!

I bought my car insurance with Hastings recently as it was the most competitive on the market AND it had all the cover I needed! I had a few queries and used their 'live chat' to get these answered, it was quick, easy and hassle-free! Would definitely recommend them. Cheapest but not the easiest

Hastings Direct were the cheapest for my policy by far. There were a number of different choices to add on to make the policy more expensive which was useful for a young driver. I had a few issues using their website though; I had to complete my application 3 times due to the website timing out for no reason and it was a bit difficult to understand what each of the 'extras' was going to cover me for and therefore, what wasn't actually covered in the policy to start with. Hassle free

My car was driven into when parked and empty. Hastings Direct had my car assessed, offered me a courtesy car, and when they wrote off my car as a total loss, offered me a reasonable price for it. A cheque for the amount they offered arrived shortly afterwards. Hassle free so far (apart from some of the companies working on their behalf re-asking for the same info). Got their premium insurance with zero excess for much less than other car insurers. Reviewed on: 6th September 2017

Not bad insurance.

The only bad thing I would have to say about this insurance company is the quote they gave me to continue with them was only £16 less than my quote the year before. I had no accidents, no claims etc. In fact, I had gained a no claims discount with them, yet the price barely decreased. Reviewed on: 5th September 2017
