Polite and helpful staff

Polite and helpful staff. Downside was a ‘tick box’ system that required documentation that was unnecessary. Reviewed on: 12th February 2020

Very slow service and absurd valuations

The valuations that we received were unrealistically low, necessitating an additional mortgage simply to remortgage. It seems you cannot challenge this which spoilt the whole experience Reviewed on: 11th February 2020

What a building society should be

Mortgage experience

Our mortgage was complex. H&R were able to take our situation into account and offer us a sensible solution. Although the offer paperwork took a little time to come through, the team at H&R were amazing just before Xmas trying to get everything sorted so we could exchange.
