Review of the Jaja Finance, Credit Card:

A pathetic excuse for a travel credit card

1
A pathetic excuse for a travel credit card, customer service is only available during GMT hours and any replacement cards can only be sent to a UK address, useless if you’re abroad and the card is broken or lost. My case: they locked the card due to fraud and said it was due to VISA. Told to find a VISA atm to unlock, wasted time doing that. Nothing. Stick with reputable bank not these idiots. Worst company I have ever dealt with.

1
JaJa is absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with. My post office account was transferred - and I have had nothing but trouble since. The website didn’t work, JaJa have therefore owed me money for 10 days. I have spent endless hours on hold, in phone queues, being given other numbers to ring - some of which were unobtainable. The on hold noise is awful static, scratchy, headache inducing, discordant, an awful thing to be forced to endure for hours and hours, day after day. Today I was told that customer service cannot send me an email because they have no email facility or address...... and it could be yet another 10 days until the money they owe me is back in my account. That will be 20 working days - IF it actually does happen then. Disgusting. Reviewed on: 2nd November 2020

Utterly dreadful

1
Can only assume that this company has provided no training at all for staff. I got moved from the post office to this company and after fighting with the supposed brilliant app I decided to close my account. 4 weeks later and 3 calls I now have 3 cards arrive, still noT closed And apparently everyone I speak to is not authorised to do anything!!!!! should be called haha as they are an absolute joke

Avoid this place like the plague. they don't send statements then charge you a fee for late payment. Impossible to get through on the phone, and when you get through no help at all. Reviewed on: 31st October 2020

Is this a training site for new credit card operatives?

2
Forced to use JaJa (does that really sound like a professional name for a card dealing with finances?) after Post office bailed out from BoI. Utterly useless apart from one operative who we finally got to speak to and who dealt with our problem...others sounded like they were reading from training manuals, were hard to understand, treated us as idiots etc. Their security system for trying to access your account is flawed, it requires inputting a 4 figure number sent to your phone - you are allowed 30 seconds...but then your number doesn’t arrive for 20 seconds - don’t make a mistake!! We ended up losing our security clearance until their one operative who knew what she was doing sorted it out and got them a second star. Best of luck. P.S....they do always say they’re sorry! Awful Company To be Avoided

1
This company is money grabbing, abysmal long waits followed by unprofessional call handlers that make you wonder if you are through to a real company. Very dodgy, so much so that after initial contact with after changeover from Post Office I am cutting up my JaJa card and closing my account. Reviewed on: 28th October 2020

Simply Awful

1
A month after transfer from Post Office I still cant access my details via app or online. Five calls made (each one in queue for 45 mins plus) and still no resolution. Awful Awful Awful Reviewed on: 27th October 2020

Appalling cockup

When the app wouldn’t accept any of my details I then spent 40 minutes waiting for my call to BOI to be answered. After another 40 mins talking to somebody it still didn’t work and was told they are trying to update the app. BOI should be ashamed of their mishandling of this credit card transfer and the inconvenience it is causing. appalling

1
BOI transferred my card to this crowd. I had m BOI card for sixteen years. I never had an issue or a problem. My credit card was taken off my BOI app - I tried repeatedly to register with JAJA and the App simply would not recognise my details. I rang them three times to register - 45 minutes each time. I was told there was IT problems and that I would receive an email. I received nothing. I sent messages to BOI for a complaints email address for JAJA and was told it was nothing to do with them. I was left in a situation where I didn't know balance and how to pay it off as there is no physical presence NI. Just horrendous. I just the card up, transferred the balance and went elsewhere. Bank of Ireland Transfer

B of I sold credit card services to JaJa. I was automatically moved over. I tried to register online but they did not recognise my number. I rang the helpline and was kept waiting for 15 minutes each time. The most annoying thing is the voice keeps telling me that I can use the online service which I can't. They have yet to sort the matter out now into second week. Very poor service. No email address to contact. Reviewed on: 25th October 2020
