Laka have a unique approach to pricing. They won't charge you a fixed sum. Instead, they calculate your monthly contributions - up to a max capped amount - based on the Collective's claims. The policy is completely flexible so if you want to upgrade, add travel, racing, or pause cover, you can.

No depreciation clause

Laka cover my second hand and custom bikes (and even unicycles!) without the 50% deductible clause after they are ten years old that my old broker was forced to introduce. Really easy to use app, variable (but fair) pricing model and great referral scheme. One of the best and most progressive financial companies that I'm using. Reviewed on: 1st September 2021

I love the transparency of ky Laka invoice with everything being broken down. I love the collective aapect, as cyclists ofteb look out for each other. It’s helped encourage me to push for better cycle parking in my own city. Reviewed on: 1st September 2021

I’m not one to usually write reviews but my experiences with Laka have been outstanding. They’re so “human” and friendly and make insurance not only understandable but fun. Honest, transparent insurer

What I like most about Laka is that they are completely transparent. Every month they tell you exactly how many claims were made, including some stats on where claims went to (eg theft, crashes etc). As it’s a collective, you will only pay your fair share to pay for the claims, and since I’ve joined it’s never been the max monthly fee I signed up for. Great insurance model, run by actual cyclists with good intentions! Reviewed on: 1st September 2021
