I've been using Laka for over a year now, and I genuinely couldn’t be happier with the service. What sets them apart is their unique community-driven model – instead of paying a fixed premium, you only pay a share of the actual claims made that month. That means when claims are low, I save money. But when something does go wrong, Laka really steps up. I had a claim after my bike was damaged during a crash, and the whole process was surprisingly fast and stress-free. No long forms, no endless calls – just a simple, honest process with great communication throughout. They even covered my accessories and clothing, which many insurers overlook. Customer service is top-notch, with real people who are friendly, knowledgeable, and actually care about cyclists. Their app and online portal are super easy to use too. If you're serious about cycling and want fair, flexible, and cyclist-focused coverage, I can’t recommend Laka enough. It’s insurance that actually works for riders – not against them. Laka are incredible.

No doubt about my bike being covered

Mostly about peace of mind and knowing if my bike is taken they’ll replace it. Also, I did file a claim and it was all sorted within 2 weeks. Money repaid, bike fixed, and saddle bag replaced. Reviewed on: 1st August 2025
