Laka's collective approach, a breath of fresh air

Laka's collective approach to insurance is a refreshing change. Unlike traditional insurance companies that sometimes feel like they're working against you, Laka creates a real sense of community. Knowing that my premiums are based on what everyone claims each month makes me more careful with my bike and encourages me to be honest if I need make a claim. It's also great that my monthly payments are so much lower than what other insurers quoted me. Laka's 'no excess' option and the fact they cover my cycling accessories are a real bonus too. Honestly, I'm really happy with Laka and would definitely recommend them to other cyclists. Reviewed on: 8th October 2024

Honest review

Amazingly helpful when I've needed to speak to someone. Easy to set-up. I've never made a claim but I imagine it would be easy! It is a little expensive for me personally, but I like the company so wouldnt choose another provider. Reviewed on: 3rd October 2024

Laka are my cycling partners

Laka have helped me following crashes and crash damage on 2 separate occasions. Both times the resulting claims have been settled very quickly and in a very friendly manner. Replacement bikes and equipment were agreed, sourced and despatched speedily. My personal injury was resolved quickly too. Shame I can’t heal up as fast as Laka fixed my kit but the help I received took the pain out of the whole process. Knowing I have this kind of support behind me when I ride either to work or with my mates, really makes all the difference. Reviewed on: 3rd October 2024

I have been a Laka user these past two years, and it's the easiest-to-use insurance provider I have ever dealt with! I love the monthly breakdowns and how user-friendly they make their statements/mails/follow-ups. Filling a complain is super easy and their amazing customer service takes care of everything!
