Had bikes stolen from my balcony, other insurers would have gotten out of that but Laka's unique model meant I got a new bike delivered to my door from Cannondale - love it! Only 3 weeks from theft to new bike :D Reviewed on: 3rd September 2025

Terrible experience

Terrible insurance. I opened a claim weeks ago, for damages. Every email interaction requires at least one week. So far, the faster response time was 4 working days. When you are trying to agree on the next steps to fix the damage on your bike, this could require multiple email interactions, making the process super long. They should be focusing less on marketing and more on actually doing the job Reviewed on: 14th August 2025

I can’t recommend Laka enough. When my bike was damaged, their team made the whole process stress-free from start to finish. Communication was excellent — clear updates, quick responses, and a genuinely friendly approach that made me feel looked after. They arranged a replacement bike incredibly quickly, with no fuss or complicated forms, and kept me in the loop every step of the way. It’s rare to find an insurer that feels this personal and rider-focused. If you’re a cyclist looking for reliable cover and a team who really understands the cycling community, Laka is the way to go.
