I have been with Laka since 5 months. Have lost my Giant 2 TCR that was stolen from the front of Primary School in Pimrose Hill. The way the claim was dealt with was phenomenal. The team was genuinely empathetic, I was kept informed about duration of each procedure, the online webpage where the process is handled is excellent and very intuitive. Foremost, I love the concept of business that is rooted in the community, like Laka is. Happy to pay a bit higher premium for excellent quality service delivered by outstanding individuals. I have been using Laka for a few months and at the beginning I was a bit doubting about the insurance for my bicicle since it was my first time insuring it. Unfortunately, my bicycle was stolen, but I raised the claim with Laka without too much effort they have repaid by bicycle value within a week. I was absolutely surprised. They have also been so honest by telling me that the value I insured my bicycle was lower than the actual cost to replace even though I bought it second hand.
