Run for cyclists, by cyclists

Insurance companies usually feel like they’re run by accountants, seeking to minimise payouts and maximise profits. Laka is the polar opposite: it’s a group of cyclists trying to deal constructively with a problem we all face - people steal our stuff and sometimes we fall off. The transparency concerning how the money is spent, and how our premiums are calculated, is exemplary. I really hope they can maintain this ethos as they get bigger. Reviewed on: 3rd October 2022
