Fabulous service from St Edward Street Branch

I opened my 2nd savings account with Leek United yesterday and the service was second to none. The transaction was seamless and I would not hesitate in recommending them to friends and family. Reviewed on: 1st July 2022

Savings is secure , when you save money on your card...

Savings is secure , when you save money on your card and still you can transfer money and use it . However , when you save money using Leek Building Society you cannot transfer or withdraw instance unless you use their branch on opening hours . I love Leek Building Society . An experience which exceeded all my expectations

Last week, with very little time to invest in a 2024/25 cash ISA, I rang the local (Newcastle under Lyme) branch of Leek building society as they had a product with a very competitive interest rate and terms. The gentleman who answered the phone couldn't have been more helpful and within the hour I was in the branch to open an account. (I had previously been a member but not recently). The branch was bright and welcoming, the staff were friendly and efficient dealing with all the other customers (while I sat and filled in my application forms) and the lady was similarly helpful and efficient in dealing with me. I was able to make my deposit by cheque and was assured that I would be able to meet the 2024/25 deadline. The service and all round experience that morning far surpassed postal and on line VB methods and I have resolved to move more if my savings to the Leek society in future. In a word : "excellent" !
