Fabulous service from St Edward Street Branch

I opened my 2nd savings account with Leek United yesterday and the service was second to none. The transaction was seamless and I would not hesitate in recommending them to friends and family. Reviewed on: 1st July 2022

Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy

I came to know this Bank through a friend a year ago . I am person who spent a lot if I have money on me or in my salary bank . Being a member of this bank has taught me to save bits of bits of money . I never spent a lot nowadays because this bank closes at 2pm also it has motivated me to say . Every money I have , I send it straight to my Leek account . Sometimes I cheat , I withdraw £10- £15 if I really really need it . Customers service is very fast to serve you and it’s really easy . I can’t spent a lot now because if I need to withdraw I need to do a walk in. I always end up not going . I hide my ££ though Leek from my husband and son and pretend that I’m Broke Reviewed on: 23rd January 2024

The Building Society with the personal touch.

The refurbishment of the Branch I use has given it a very open and welcoming atmosphere and I am welcomed by the friendly staff. I usually have a lot of transactions each month, but they are dealt with professionally and correctly. I like the 'personal touch' and not having to use the cold, unfriendly machines which are now in most Banks or the 'open to abuse and hackers 'internet banking. I was pleased with the Interest on the Accounts this year, which has made such a difference to my Accounts and also to the Charity Accounts. I was informed recently that you are no longer allowing Charities to hold a Bond. When the one we have matures in November, I hope there will be an alternative in place for us to use as we have quite a large sum in the Account and we use the interest from it each year in our main account. Fabulous place to put your money ...

The staff are excellent and very helpful and friendly nothing is to much trouble they have a lot of time for people and give excellent advice on savings and what is best for me we had are mortgage with them when we had one and it was an absolute brilliant rate and they went through all options would definitely recommend them for all money that you need help and advice with you can also just drop in and say hello fabulous place to put your money Reviewed on: 23rd January 2024
