I upgraded my Lloyds Current account to Club Lloyds recently. It was very easy to upgrade and I am getting a good rate of interest.

I decided to upgrade my account because of the good rate of interest. The process of upgrading was so easy and my account runs like a dream. I like being able to do everything online and not having to go into a branch. As an added bonus I also get a free 12 months' subscription to a magazine of my choice. Reviewed on: 10th August 2015

Overdraft woes

Expensive overdraft rates. It goes up all the time and I feel like I’m now stuck with them as I can’t afford to pay it all back. Reviewed on: 9th February 2020

Does anyone recommend a bank?

Club Lloyds is a fairly run of the meal 'reward' type account with yearly 'free' magazine subscription or cinema tickets plus travel and mobile insurance. I've never worked out why Lloyds refund my fee for having the account each month but by doing that they certainly make it a freebie worth having! Reviewed on: 9th February 2020

Great Account

Excellent internet banking

Very reliable and responsive. Easy to access for all accounts including some non Lloyds accounts. Poor interest rates let's it down. Low interest on the current account however Reviewed on: 8th February 2020

Great customer service

Club Lloyds have rewards I enjoy. They also have great customer services. When there was a glitch at the beginning when sorting the account out, not only were they sincere, but they were very prompt in sorting it all out. Very pleased. Reviewed on: 8th February 2020

I've never been tempted to leave

The one downside with Lloyds I've found is across all banks - which is charges for using your card abroad. But I have a Revolut card now (I believe they're actually owned by Lloyds). The rates on their savings accounts are poor - I do wish they'd incentivise staying with them to save. Reviewed on: 7th February 2020
