Brilliant

As efficient as a bank bank can be with great staff and brilliant service.

Since I first joined Lloyds several years ago they have always made sure that banking has been easy for me. On the phone for longer than 20 minutes they gave me a refund in to my bank. They're very active about fraud monitoring. Reviewed on: 9th November 2015

one imperfection

One of the best interest paying accounts on the market.

If you are looking for an account to get a decent interest rate on,the Club Lloyds account is a good choice paying a rate of 4% on balances of £4-5k,certainly beating any of the regular savings accounts on the market despite itself being a current account.This account is also unique in offering annual lifestyle benefits i.e. cinema tickets/magazine subscription which is a first from a bank account for me, but great combined with the the high interest rate. Good account

Have had this account for 1 year. It is great if you keep £5000 in it as it pays 4% and I also get a free magazine each month. having the account also lets me open a monthly saver also paying 4% Reviewed on: 26th August 2015

Best interest rate on £5k

I have had a Club Lloyds account for around 6 months now. I was attracted to the account because it offers 4% interest on balances between £4,000 and £5,000. It's been a great day to day account and I receive around £14.00 interest per month from keeping it topped up with a balance of £5,000. I also received a pack of free cinema tickets for vue cinemas as an annual 'reward' for holding the account. I haven't had any issues that have required me to deal with Lloyds customer service team, but opening the account was very straightforward. My only negative would be that you don't receive any interest at all on balances over £5,000 and the interest rate drops below £4,000 so you need to keep a close eye on the balance!
