A pleasure to do business with.

I have had a motor policy with LV for more years than I care to remember. I had to claim on one occasion when I was out of the country and the sea broke coastal defenses during a storm and flooded both my garage and my wife's car. There was no quibble with the settlement which was based upon the car's replacement value at the time. I have also had two windscreens replaced, again with no quibbles. LV do try to get me to auto renew my policy which I refuse to do as I am always offered a better quote when I telephone. Reviewed on: 7th August 2019

Great value and very sympathetic

I broke my ankle in December 2018 and had to ring and advise I wanted a family friend added to my insurance as I couldn't drive. The advisor I spoke to was so helpful and patient, sorted everything out quickly for me. In January 2019 I received a delivery of flowers as I thought from someone I knew, However, when I read the attached card they were from LV, I cannot describe how happy that made me! Uninterested customer service and low layout offer

Would give 0 stars if possible. My partner was in an accident that wasn't her fault and the other party admitted full liability at the roadside in the presence of the police and witnesses that provided numbers. The car was written off and their offer was lower than market value and stated we would only get a hire car for a week from when we settled. We explained that we couldn't get a car within 130 miles of us for that and that personally with a small family this was a massive inconvenience and it felt like they didn't care and simply wanted to get rid of us. My partner wasn't even sure if they asked how she was after the crash. Since we couldn't be without a car we travelled the distance to buy a car on the promise the payout would be in our account the next day which it wasn't and we had to buy the car on credit cards. Payment still pending to us after 3 full working days and the value was less than 15k. We will not use this company again. Not there for you when needed. Reviewed on: 29th July 2019

Excellent customer service and 5* cover

best price for multicar

Have only just signed up to them for my multicar insurance for my wife and me so cannot comment on customer service, but initial experience very good. Web site very easy to use, and best of all i saved over £400 on my renewal quotation from Direct line (which had gone up 100 from previous year), as well as other quotes from Admiral and NFU. Had to double check that i had all the details in correctly as it seemed such a good deal by comparison Reviewed on: 30th May 2019

Renewal of multi car policy very reasonable

After one year on a multi car policy (wife & self) renewal had a modest rise. Phoned to remove hire cars from policy and after some questions they removed the hire cars and further reduced my premiums. Compared to similar cover with Admiral they were considerably cheaper.
