Great customer service

After having left Aviva after awful customer service after a non fault accident I have been extremely pleased with how easy it is to communicate on the phone with a human being amd response time on email is extremely quick as well. Reviewed on: 28th July 2023

Think carefully before taking insurance with LV

Very unscrupulous company. Someone ran into the back of my car 2 years ago - they admitted liability and car was fixed no problem. 2 years later I get a solicitors letter from LV saying Hastings were now refusing to pay and that I had to sue Hastings and attend court to recover LVs money! I've obviously said I don't want to sue Hastings and if they are owed money then sue them themselves. Since then I have received multiple emails from LV threatening me. They've said it is in the T&Cs and are now saying they will put the accident down as a fault on my record and destroy my no claims bonus if i do not issue legal proceedings! I have reported to FCA and have contacted the BBC - I am also seeking legal advice to try and protect myself from their constant bullying. Extortionate price hike on renewal.

Home insurance quote increased by 33% by LV. LV increased my home building and content quote by 33% despite no claims being made. Online comparison site offered an equivalent quote gir £225 which is ehat LV quoted last year. Clearly LV do not want loyal customers snd offer cheaper deals only to new ones. I won't be using LV in the future. I also will not renew my car insurance with them until they rmvakye existing customers as much as they do new ones. Reviewed on: 5th October 2023

Competitive Cost - Easy to manage online

Head won over heart

I had been with LV for my car insurance for years They did everything I wanted and was able to match like for like from comparisons sites until last year when they could get nowhere near Admit=ral and so with a heavy heart I switched and have been waiting till my next quote where I can see if I can go back to LV but price is king Reviewed on: 31st August 2023

Disappointed

LV were to advise me of claim made against me before considering paying as I was suspicious of the circumstances. They didn't and it was only subsequently I found out that that had paid out thousands without contacting me, and now that claim counts against me! Reviewed on: 24th August 2023
