Manchester Credit Union loans are available for up to £15,000. Members can clear the balance of a loan at any time and won’t be charged any early settlement fees.

A brilliant website that supports a clear and extremely helpful financial service

I have been a member of Manchester Credit Union since 2011. I have had a loan with them that was affordable and the repayment was easier than any other loan repayment I have experienced. The website is clear, easy to navigate, holds all necessary relevant detail for any action I require within my account. The recent addition of the Xmas Saver account option is in my opinion an outstanding benefit. I find the staff at Manchester Credit Union very helpful. I am indeed a very satisfied customer. Why can’t I use savings to pay loan

I had £300 savings but you wouldn’t let me transfer them over off my loan so I was paying interest on a loan of £400+ when in fact if the savings were deducted I would only owe £50 and a lower interest too Reviewed on: 13th July 2025

Live savers when struggling with cost of living

I have had my amount for numerous year and I have had lots of loans (child benefit loan) and had no problem with payments as it is very fair to what you have to pay back. Even when I have been struggling they have allowed me to withdraw money from my savings too. Reviewed on: 13th July 2025
