An absolute sham

Customer Service is a robot. I refused to use the app and instead do it all online and it's the worse experience ever. You can't speak to anyone, the site is awful, small print, and it very clear that they want you to use the app. Don't they know the majority of M&S customers are over 60. I am now looking online to tart this card and dump M&S for good. Reviewed on: 21st October 2022

It's incredibly difficult to service the account.

It's incredibly difficult to service the account. A small amount can be done on the app, most of it needs a login on the website, and it's not clear how to find anything. I tried to amend my direct debit a month or two after opening the account and was unable to do it. I've just mananged to locate the online form which has required me to download my recent statements and submit a significant amount of information, in order to change the direct debit from the minimum to a fixed amount. Why on earth is this made so difficult? On all other credit cards that I've ever had, this can be amended with a couple of clicks on the website. Enormously frustrating. Reviewed on: 9th August 2024

I have been a long standing customer of m&s,and have used their credit card for most transactions.. My credit card was damaged,and I needed a replacement. That is when the trouble began.. My first phone call enabled me to order a new card.. I phoned a week later to be told that there were delays. A week later when I phoned, I was told that the card had not been ordered. A week later it arrived, and the pin arrived. However there was no PIN number in the little box, although l placed it on white paper. I phoned again,and needless to say no PIN number appeared even when scratched with a coin, and held up to the light. I now have to wait another 5 working days for PIN number to appear. I would not recommend M&S credit cards I would not recommend M&S credit cards, l have been with them several years and paid my monthly bills even before the statement arrived,on several occasions when l have had to querie somethings I have found the customer services rude and unhelpful, so l have closed my account,M&S have gone down hill over the years Reviewed on: 18th June 2024

Good period of 0% on purchases plus rewards.

Good period of 0% on purchases plus rewards. Notifications for every transaction so easy to keep track of spending. Only slight negative is not being able to freeze card in the app but have to call the bank. Reviewed on: 24th May 2024
