Over a 3 day period, despite constant phone calls, emails and messages with recorded messages offering a return call within 5 hours, we are yet to receive any replies. My next call is to the Financial Ombudsman to start a complaints process. Reviewed on: 14th September 2023

Improve the method for checking an applicant's current bank account details credentials. I checked out OK personally but my bank did not pass me. When I asked Melton they said they did not know and Nationwide would not tell them the problem - how then was I to clear the problem if I didn't know what it was. I eventually accredited myself by sending in my saving deposit by cheque. Reviewed on: 1st September 2023

The customer service was in keeping as informed, by phone and letter, at every stage of opening an account, depositing funds and confirming deposited funds was excellent. In particular Chloe was exceptional. Reviewed on: 30th August 2023
