Wonderful Team Wonderful Bank

A bank which works for the customer

Very easy to set up an account. On line security is best of all banks I use. One can do transactions when I want to do them, not haveing to wait until Monday if it is a weekend. When I do speak to staff they are friendly and helpful. Also when I do phone I don't have to wait hanging on the phone for ever. Metro Bank beat the old high street banks hands down. A Better Approach

Easy to work with

And there I was frustrated. I'd been swayed by the sales pitch and changed to an online bank only to find the pitch didn't match reality, didn't come close. So I switched again to Metro Bank. I turned up for my appointment, everything ran to time. The pre meeting brief ensured I brought all the right documents, the account opening was smooth and easy with no surprises. With the account open and the switch over complete with no stress I started to use my business account. Support has been great. Service has been courteous and quick. Happy...you bet. Better than your average bank Bo-bo

Having moved from RBS, where I had been for 25+ years and having gotten tired of their lacklustre approach to (my) business banking and having failed to ever enjoyed their clunky banking app. I was then advised that RBS were looking to unload their buinsess accounts and was invited to aproach 'challanger banks, where- were I to be successful in obtaining business banking - I'd get a welcome in 'payment' too. Whats not to like - So I took the plunge and made an appointment with the local branch business team manager and had a very positive meeting. The following week I switched all my buinsess and personal banking ( 5 accounts) to MetroBank, after a couple of buinsess colleagues had given it great reviews. Never expecting a banking switch to go well I was very impressed how seamless it was and how attentive the branch ( store!) was. All in all - never happier - WIth their UK based call centre - as and when I need to move money that I cant on the app or on line - they are also superb. Nothing short of outstanding!!!

Having been in business for over 56 years it has been fantastic to have found Metro Bank. We were forced to find a new bank as several branches of NatWest had closed and the only other option was a high street location which was very risky as it involved parking in a multi-storey carpark and carrying cash to the bank .We were welcomed at Metro and we enjoy first rate personal service , They quickly understood our requirements and helped us with all the details of setting up various accounts .They have more than proved their worth through the pandemic and we have recommended them to others who also sing their praises. not yet fully facilitated,

Generally speaking is a very good bank to bank with but when it comes for asking for some facilities ( Loan, Overdraft, Credit Cards) you have to go in person to the bank and fill the forms and wait for credit score to determine you unlike 98% of the banks on UK as you can apply online and they use internal Credit Score depending on your history, apart from these painful old fashion procedures the rest are Excellent Reviewed on: 9th March 2021
