Absolutely abhorent Customer service.

As I am currently shielding as I am suffering the effects of Long covid, I asked my son, who lives with us to pay cash into my savings. My savings need to be built up as i may not be able to return to work for some time. The sum was £195, however, the Staff were refusing to allow him to pay into MY account. He explained the situation and they had the audacity to ask for a copy of MY shielding Letter which contains Medical (in confidence), Information. This isn't the first time we have had issues with this outfit! I will now be closing my accounts. Reviewed on: 10th March 2021

It is a bank with a difference.

I have had a current account with Metro for the past several years. While I am not making full use of the facilities available, I am very much encouraged to increase mu banking with the Metro, as it seems to be the MOST trouble free, responsible and highly professional bank as compared to all the BIG banks that we have got in the UK. It is my judgement that it will in the near future grow to the biggest bank of this country. Primarily because of its realistic policies on all customers. I am hoping it will soon come up with slightly better saving schemes than are currently offered by other competing banks. It is my honest and impartial judgement that the METRO should get the British Bank Award 2021 so that others can follow its footsteps... Reviewed on: 10th March 2021

Wonderful customer services

I always get the most wonderful service from the call team, the staff in the bank and the overall customer service from this bank. It is the only account I have now and use, the interest rates are competitive and it's just a much better bank that doesn't penalise you! That is why I felt compelled to write this review.
