Finding a bank for my son's Discretionary Trust, Metro to the rescue.

When Nat West closed the account (along with many other banks) for my special needs son's Discretionary Trust in the summer of 2022 they sent the notification and a cheque for the balance to the wrong address and we didn't get it for 4 months. We had to move fast and Metro Bank were the only one prepared to provide an account for a Trust. Because two trustees lived in Shropshire and one in Kent we had to deal with two branches, Wolverhampton and Canterbury to do it. Both were incredibly helpful and supportive and made it really easy. They really rode to the rescue when all the others were riding in the opposite direction. They were brilliant, the best bank I've ever dealt with. Reviewed on: 11th March 2023

Great, easily accessible bank

I use this bank for my current account and euro currency account to transfer money for accommodation etc everything runs smoothly and there are several tills open plus hosts to assist . All staff friendly and efficient . Magic money counter and dog bowls are a nice touch as well as large mural of the High street in the early 20th century . Very convenient opening hours .
